Jammu: District Magistrate Sachin Kumar Vaishya conducted a comprehensive tour of R.S Pura and took stock of development activities and the security scenario in the border Subdivision.
Senior Superintendent of Police Joginder Singh, Additional District Development Commissioner, Sher Singh also accompanied him.
During the visit, the officers assessed developmental works, law and order situation and border-related matters. They inspected the Parisha and Palash shelters of the Social Welfare Department to evaluate the facilities and services provided to the inmates.
The officers also held interactions with the general public at border villages, where local residents presented their concerns. Sub-Divisional Magistrate R.S Pura, Seema Parihar, CDPO Ateeksha Sethi besides other officers were also present at the occasion.
