Jammu : Hailing the inauguration of the Jammu Railway Division by Prime Minister Narendra Modi as a path-breaking initiative to transform the region’s connectivity and unlock opportunities for economic growth and employment, newly nominated Vice President of J&K Bhartiaya Janata Yuva Morcha (BJYM) Devyani Rana also called it the fulfillment of her late father, Devender Singh Rana’s, long cherished and pursued dream.
Addressing a women gathering at Kotli in Mathwar Mandal, as part of public outreach programs following her father’s passing, Devyani Rana highlighted Devender Singh Rana’s relentless pursuit of the Jammu Railway Division. “Less than a week before his untimely demise, my father made a request to the Union Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnav and J&K Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha for the crucial need for a separate Railway Division for Jammu,” she said. Ms Rana expressed gratitude to Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha for publicly acknowledging her father’s contributions during the inauguration function.
“The Jammu Railway Division is not just an infrastructural milestone but a testament to the late visionary leader’s tireless efforts. As Jammu embarks on a new chapter of progress, the people remember and honor the enduring legacy of Devender Singh Rana—a leader whose dedication to the region’s welfare will continue to inspire generations”, she said. Also thanking the party leadership rank, Devyani Rana said, “The immense encouragement, support and solidarity graciously shown by all ensured that Rana’s vision and work is remembered and honoured” . Overwhelmed with emotion, Ms. Rana also extended her gratitude to the people of Nagrota Constituency by saying “Your unwavering patronage and encouragement gives me the strength every day to carry forward the mission of our beloved Devender Singh Rana “.
