PM Modi presents chadar at Ajmer dargah

Ajmer: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Saturday offered ‘chadar’ and ‘Aqeedat’ flowers at the Ajmer Dargah of Sufi saint Khwaja Moinuddin Chishti on the occasion of the 813th annual Urs.
Union Minister for Minority Affairs Kiren Rijiju presented ‘chadar’ at the holy shrine at the dargah on behalf of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
Rijiju read out the message sent by PM Modi at the Mehfil Khana at the Dargah. Later, speaking to the media, the minister said he was fortunate to have come to the dargah with the ‘chadar’ of the Prime Minister.
Rijiju said he has prayed for peace in the country at the Dargah as the message from the Dargah goes to the whole world.
He said after offering a ‘chadar’ at the holy shrine on behalf of Modi, he read out his message in which the Prime Minister said that everyone will work together for world peace to maintain the message that goes from the dargah to the whole world.
He said that we wanted everyone to come to this world famous dargah and feel how much impact coming to the dargah has in life. Union Minister of State for Agriculture Bhagirath Chaudhary, Rajasthan Water Resources Minister Suresh Singh Rawat, Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) Minority Morcha National President Jamal Siddiqui and others were present on the occasion. Earlier, Rijiju was welcomed by BJP workers on his arrival at Ajmer circuit house.
