Amidst inclement weather, DC Kupwara deputes officers to review health facilities, conduct market checking

Kupwara : In view of the continued cold weather following snowfall, Deputy Commissioner Kupwara, Ayushi Sudan, deputed Tehsildar Zachaldara, to conduct inspection of hospitals within the territorial jurisdiction of Tehsil Zachaldara.
During the inspection, Tehsildar Zachaldara interacted with patients, hospital staff, and administrators to assess the quality of healthcare services being provided.
He enquired about the availability of medical facilities, equipment, and essential medicines, ensuring that patients receive comprehensive healthcare services.
Similarly, following the directions of the Deputy Commissioner, Tehsildar Handwara, along with the Revenue team conducted market checking in Handwara on Thursday.
During the inspection, Tehsildar Handwara visited various markets to inspect the rates of essential commodities.
Throughout the drive, erring shopkeepers were fined on the spot and directed to keep fresh vegetables available in the market.
