Power shutdown in Rajbagh Srinagar

Srinagar : According to the Chief Engineer, Distribution, KPDCL, in order to carry out stabilization of 33KV Sadiq Colony Tap line, the shutdown of 33KV Sadiq Colony tap line shall be observed due to which Receiving Stations at Hospital, Model town, Kapra and Noorbagh shall remain off while power supply to the Hospital, Model town, Kapra and Noorbagh in Sopore town will be affected from 09:00 AM to 03:00 PM on 02 January, 2025.
Similarly, in order to replace rotten/damaged poles and facilitate gate construction at Lalad Amargrah Sopore, the shutdown of 33KV Baramulla-1st line shall be observed due to which Receiving Stations at Baramulla-1st, Kanli Bagh and GMC Baramulla shall remain off while the power supply to the Baramulla-1st, Kanli Bagh and GMC Baramulla will be affected from 11:00 AM to 02:00 PM on 02 January, 2025.
Also, the shutdown of 33KV Baramulla-II shall be observed due to which Receiving Station at Baramulla-II shall remain off while the power supply to the Old town and Janbazpora of Sopore will be affected from 11:00 AM to 02:00 PM on 02 January, 2025.
Further, the shutdown of 33KV Delina-Sopore line shall be observed due to which Receiving Station at Sopore-II shall remain off while the power supply to the Krankshivan Colony, Amargrah and Zonal Bank at Sopore will be affected from 10:00 AM to 03:00 PM on 02 January, 2025.
Moreover, in order to facilitate the execution of work at 33 KV Tap line to 1×10 MVA under construction Receiving Station Ompora under PMDP-R, the shutdown of 33KV Budgam-SIDCO line shall be observed due to which Receiving Station SIDCO shall remain off while the power supply to the Ompora Housing Colony, Khanpora, NIFT and Police line Ompora areas falling under Budgam district will be affected from 11:00 AM to 04:00 PM on 02 January, 2025.
