DC Kulgam chairs DLC meeting of HADP, approves 690 cases

DC reviews progress under Agricultural schemes, directs 100% target fulfillment

Kulgam : A meeting of the District Level Committee (DLC) for the Holistic Agriculture Development Programme (HADP) was held on Tuesday at the Mini-Secretariat, Kulgam.
During the meeting, the committee chaired by Deputy Commissioner (DC) Kulgam, Athar Aamir Khan reviewed and approved 690 cases under various projects and components of the HADP.
Later, the DC assessed the implementation status of various agricultural and developmental schemes in Agriculture & allied sectors in the district.
He reviewed progress under HADP, DAKSH Kisan, Kisan Khidmat Ghars (KKGs), Pradhan Mantri Fasal Bima Yojana (PMFBY), Kisan Credit Card (KCC), JK Comprehensive agriculture and allied Implementation Projects (JKCIP), and Pradhan Mantri Formalization of Micro Food Processing Enterprises (PMFME) etc.
Chief Agriculture Officer (CAO) Kulgam presented a comprehensive report on the progress of these schemes.
It was informed that 17817 applications have been approved so far under HADP.
Under DAKSH Kisan scheme, 12821 farmers were registered, and 9609 farmers completed trainings.
Additionally, 10534 farmers were registered on the Kisan Khidmat Ghars (KKG) App, and 178 Kisan Sampark Abhiyan (KSA) sessions were conducted during phase-3.
The DC instructed all departments to work towards achieving 100% target under all HADP Projects
The meeting was also attended by ACR, CAO, CHO and other officers of line departments.
