HADP Implementation: AHD Jammu hosts virtual capacity building workshop for officials on effective use of key technological initiatives

Jammu : The Department of Animal Husbandry Jammu on Saturday conducted a virtual capacity building workshop cum interaction for district and sectoral officers of the division to increase awareness about use of novel technological tools like Kisan Sathi-Output Tracking App and documentation of success stories under HADP here at its Directorate.
Director Animal Husbandry Jammu Dr. Waheeda Parveen presided over the event which was attended through virtual mode by all district officers and officers designated as Field Level Officers (FLOs), besides officers from technical section and documentation cell.
Speaking on the occasion, the Director said that several units have been created under different HADP projects in dairy, poultry and fodder sectors across the Jammu division for reporting and monitoring of these units by using technological tools to ensure transparency in the implementation process.
‘Kisan Sathi-Output Tracking App is a mobile application designed to record and monitor progress of all the projects/units established under HADP’, she added.
The director further exhorted the district officers and field level officers to acquaint themselves with the modalities involved in operating this software as their progress is continuously being monitored by higher authorities. “There shall be no laxity whatsoever in timely reporting and uploading data through this app” she maintained.
Nodal officer for KS-Output Tracking App Dr. Rajeev Manhas gave a detailed presentation on its features and functions as well as the role of FLOs in ensuring that progress is uploaded and monitored on a real-time basis.
Members Documentation Cell, Directorate of Animal Husbandry Jammu Dr. Sandeep Kumar and Ajay Sharma provided participants with useful tips on impactful capturing and further documentation of inspiring success stories of farmers in under the HADP projects, through audio-video and photographic mediums.
