Project Mission Yuva 2024-25: Training held for enumerators, supervisors for Baseline Survey at Shopian

Shopian: Bracing up for the effective rollout of Baseline Survey under Project Mission Yuva, 2024-25, the District Administration on Thursday organised a training programme for the enumerators and supervisors of the district at GDC Shopian.
The Deputy Commissioner (DC) Shopian, Mohammad Shahid Saleem Dar presided over the training programme.
The staff assigned the duties of conducting the survey under the scheme were sensitized about their role and responsibilities and equipping them with necessary know-how for the successful conduct of the Survey starting January 01, 2024.
The master trainers imparted the training in two sessions at the venue, which shall continue tomorrow also.
Speaking on the occasion, the DC said that Project Mission YUVA is a government initiative aimed at fostering sustainable employment opportunities in Jammu and Kashmir by supporting the creation of new micro-enterprises, expanding existing businesses, and encouraging innovative entrepreneurial ventures.
During the meeting, DC emphasized the importance of providing necessary training. He asked for focusing on key action points and understanding their roles to conduct the Baseline Survey, which is of much importance, effectively and efficiently.
ADDC Shopian, Dr. Nasir Ahmad Lone urged stakeholders to prioritize efficient planning for conducting a comprehensive baseline survey of existing and potential entrepreneurs in the district.
Dr. Nasir highlighted the significance of Mission Yuva in fostering an entrepreneurial culture among the youth of Shopian, focusing on capacity-building programmes, financial support, and training to ensure self-reliance.
The officers and officials of Planning and Employment departments and other concerned were present on the occasion along with the enumerators and supervisors.
