Budgam: The Indian Army’s 62 RR Beerwah, in collaboration with social activist Muzamil Mehmood, organized on Wednesday an inspiring cycling rally in Beerwah, Central Kashmir. The event saw the enthusiastic participation of 50 cyclists from various parts of Beerwah town.

The rally began with a flag-off ceremony led by SDPO Magam. The Major of 62 RR Beerwah officially started the event, accompanied by prominent local figures, including SHO Beerwah, who also actively joined the rally. The cycling event became a platform for uniting the youth of the region, showcasing their talent, sportsmanship, and patriotism. It set a positive tone for future sports initiatives in the area. This rally was more than just a sporting event—it symbolized the strong bond between the Indian Army and the local population. By empowering the youth through such initiatives, the Army demonstrated its commitment to the region’s development and harmony. The participants, motivated by the experience, pledged to return with even more energy and numbers next year, reinforcing the spirit of unity and partnership between the people of Kashmir and the Indian Army.
