Canara Bank Hosts Interactive Business Meet at SKICC Srinagar

Srinagar: Canara Bank organized an engaging and interactive Business Meet at SKICC Srinagar today The event brought together business leaders, entrepreneurs, and key stakeholders to foster collaboration and explore opportunities for growth and partnership with the bank.
The event commenced with a warm welcome address by the Assistant General Manager, Shri Prashant Kumar, who emphasized the bank’s commitment to supporting the local business community and promoting economic development. A special video presentation was showcased, highlighting the illustrious journey of Canara Bank from its establishment in 1906 to its present-day achievements as one of India’s premier financial institutions.
The General Manager of Canara Bank, Manoj Kumar Das, delivered the keynote address, outlining the bank’s vision and strategies to cater to the evolving needs of the business fraternity. His inspiring speech underscored the role of financial partnerships in driving mutual success and growth. Abrar Ul Mustafa, Manager (Scale II) at Canara Bank, hosted the event and delivered a detailed presentation on the bank’s Business Loan and MSME Products, tailored to empower businesses and entrepreneurs. One of the key highlights of the event was an open discussion session, presided over by Manoj Kumar Das, where members of the business fraternity shared their insights, concerns, and suggestions for strengthening their association with Canara Bank. Among the business leaders and guests present at the event were Javaid Ahmad Tenga, President KCCI, Himayoun Wani, Co-Chair PHDCCI Kashmir, and Syed Niaz Ahmed Shah, Chairman FTII, among other prominent business leaders. The event concluded with a formal vote of thanks by Mr. Owais Javed, Branch Head of Canara Bank’s Srinagar Main Branch, who expressed gratitude to the participants for their valuable time and contributions. Abrar Ul Mustafa, the event host, concluded the proceedings with a note of appreciation for the enthusiastic participation and encouraged the attendees to leverage Canara Bank’s tailored financial products for achieving their business goals. The meet was followed by a networking lunch, where further discussions and idea-sharing took place among the guests and Canara Bank executives.
