Protest Outside Parliament against reservations,Not on Srinagar

Srinagar/Dec,23 : Chairman Jammu and Kashmir Peoples Democratic Front (J&K PDF) and former Minister Hakeem Muhammad Yaseen has called upon top National Conference leaders and party’s MP from Srinagar Agha Ruhullah Mehdi to Protest against unjust reservation policy Outside Parliament instead of Srinagar streets and wait for the final outcome of the petition filed against the unjust reservation in the top court of J&K.
In a statement issued here on Monday Hakeem said protesting against the unjust J&K reservation policy on Srinagar streets instead in Delhi Outside the parliament is just a political drama but not a serious effort for roll back the reservation policy.Hakeem further said that though difference of opinion is the beauty of democracy but Srinagar Parliament Member of the ruling party protesting against the reservation policy Outside Chief Minister’s residence after formation of cabinet sub committee shows that Protest is just a political drama to hoodwink people.Daring Srinagar MP Agha Ruhullah Mehdi and other National Conference leaders to Protest against the unjust reservation policy Outside the parliament which has passed the bill to change the law Hakeem said “case is sub judicious, let all political parties wait for the final Court verdict without exploiting the emotions of people by political Protests just for political mileages” He also hoped that Cabinet Sub Committee will live upto the promises for which it has been constituted. He appealed all political parties not to repeat the Politics of betrayals of yesteryears by supporting the approach of balancing the reservations for securing the future of youth in Government jobs and admission for lucrative professions like medicine and engineering. He also sought removal of all disparities in J&K and national reservation policies.
