Widening of Dhar Road within Udhampur Township on the anvil, DC discusses work plan with stakeholders

Udhampur : Deputy Commissioner Saloni Rai on Saturday chaired a meeting to discuss the work plan for widening of Dhar Road, stretching from Slathia Chowk to Domel Chowk within the Udhampur Township.
The meeting was attended by Additional Deputy Commissioner Prem Singh: Assistant Commissioner Revenue Dr. Umesh Shan; Chief Executive Officer Municipal Council Udhampur Rajinder Kumar Digra, XEN Jal Shakti and other concerned officers.
A detailed discussion was held on critical issues, including the shifting of electric poles, relocation of existing water supply pipelines, installation of ornamental lights on either side of the and the provision of proper waste management facilities along the stretch.
The DC emphasized the need for inter-departmental coordination to ensure smooth execution of the project. She stressed on the importance of aligning infrastructure works systematically to achieve a seamless and aesthetically model road.
The officers were directed to prioritize timelines and maintain consistent communication to address any bottlenecks promptly.
