Doda : A series of special grievances redressal camps and awareness programs were held at multiple locations across Doda district on the 2nd day of the Good Governance Week.
The camps were held at Panchayat Mothi-A, Tehsil Assar, and Panchayat Bagla of Block Udyanpur, to address public concerns and promote efficient services delivery. The initiatives, under the theme “Prashasan Gaon Ki Ore” (Taking Administration to Villages) aimed to enhance transparency, accountability, and citizen-centric governance at the grassroots level.
The camp at Panchayat Mothi-A actively resolved public complaints on the spot, encouraging participation from both officials and the community. Awareness was raised about Digital India programs and various e-governance initiatives, ensuring seamless access to government services. This camp exemplified the administration’s commitment to Proactive Governance and Timely Implementation (PRAGATI) for creating an inclusive society.
At Tehsil Assar, officials organized impactful programs to enhance public service delivery and highlight schemes like PM Kissan, KCC, PMAY, HADP, and PMFBY. Special awareness drive focused on promoting e-governance and resolving public grievances promptly.
Similarly, a Good Governance Camp at Panchayat Bagla, Block Udyanpur resolved grievances related to water and power supply and resolved PMAY (Grameen) issues on the spot.
Discussions included the optimum utilization of the vacant PWD Rest House at Bagla for government purposes like housing offices or a police post. The camp also emphasized the active participation of line departments like Agriculture, Horticulture, RRD, and Revenue to ensure meaningful engagement with the public.
These initiatives underline the administration’s unwavering dedication to ensuring efficient governance, enhanced service delivery, and rural development. The district remains committed to empowering citizens and strengthening the principles of good governance.
