Work begins on the construction of Nayabat Office Nagam in B’gam

Budgam : The Deputy Commissioner (DC) Budgam, Akshay Labroo on Wednesday conducted an on-site review of the under-construction Nayabat Office Nagam, emphasising timely completion of the project.
During the inspection, the DC directed the concerned officials and executing agency to ensure strict adherence to the set deadlines. He reiterated the administration’s commitment for delivering quality infrastructure within the stipulated time.
The Nayabat Office Nagam, recently approved, is aimed to enhance administrative efficiency and provide better services to the local population of Nagam area.
In addition to reviewing the project, the DC also reviewed the state of approach road in the area and directed R&B Budgam to plan for upgradation of the approach road in the coming FY. He also interacted with local residents and listened to their suggestions & projected issues.
It is worth mentioning that approval has also been granted to construction of Tehsil Office BK Pora, Nayabat Soibugh, Nayabat Kachwari, Additional NT Complex Pakherpora in district Budgam under the larger objective of augmenting administrative infrastructure and public service delivery offices of Revenue functionaries in the district for swifter delivery of services to the citizens of Budgam.
The DC was accompanied by SDM Chadoora, CPO Budgam, Ex. Engineer R&B Chadoora, Tehsildar Chadoora and other officials during the visit.
