Poonch : Deputy Commissioner Vikas Kundal on Wednesday visited Tanda village near Khanetar to address local infrastructure needs. Engaging directly with residents, he listened to their concerns regarding the long-standing demand for the construction of the Tanda Bridge.
During the visit, community members highlighted the urgent necessity of the bridge at the starting point of the road from Grid Station to Mohalla Changla Qureshian. The Deputy Commissioner responded positively, directing the Executive Engineer of PWD (R&B) to prepare the Detailed Project Report (DPR) for the bridge.
The Deputy Commissioner assured the locals of early fulfillment of their demand, emphasizing that the bridge would enhance connectivity to adjoining villages and facilitate easier access for children to attend school.
The residents expressed their gratitude to the Deputy Commissioner and hoped for timely construction of the Bridge.
