Beopar Mandal delegation calls on DC Rajouri, Projects demands regarding upgrading of civic amenities

Rajouri : Deputy Commissioner Rajouri, Abhishek Sharma on Wednesday interacted with a delegation of the Beopar Mandal Rajouri to address various issues concerning the development and functioning of Rajouri town.
The meeting, held at the DC office, provided a platform to the traders to share their concerns and suggestions for improving the civic and business environment in the town.
The delegation, led by President, Rajesh Gupta (Bittu Shah) & senior members of the Beopar Mandal, raised several key issues. The demanded including adequate Power supply, creation of parking spaces and other matters of public importance.
The issue of License Registration of shops with Municipal Council was also discussed in the meeting .
DC Abhishek Sharma gave a patient hearing to the delegation and assured prompt action on the issues raised.
Responding to the demands, he said the issues related to power and water supply would be taken up with the Power Development Department (PDD) and Jal Shakti Departments for a prompt action.
The DC further informed that the administration is working on proposals to develop additional parking spaces in key locations within the town. He also emphasized the importance of balancing commercial activities with urban planning to ease traffic congestion.
Regarding the registration of shops, he said the administration would review the process to ensure fairness and transparency. He said awareness sessions for shopkeepers will be held about the registration requirements.
“The cooperation and inputs from the business community are vital for the holistic development of Rajouri town. We are committed to addressing your concerns and working together to make Rajouri a more vibrant and business-friendly place,” DC Sharma remarked.
The Beopar Mandal members appreciated the proactive approach of the district administration and assured their full support for initiatives aimed at improving urban infrastructure and civic amenities.
