Bandipora : The Department of Sericulture on Tuesday inaugurated a 3-day Farmers’ Skill Development Training programme under Capacity Building Activities at the Sericulture Nursery in Ayatmulla, Bandipora.
The programme, under HADP aims to equip farmers with practical knowledge and hands-on experience in modern sericulture techniques and practices.
The training focuses on empowering farmers by enhancing their skills in modern sericulture practices and guiding them on how to avail beneficiary-oriented schemes offered by the Department of Sericulture.
On the occasion, the District Sericulture Officer Bandipora emphasized that the initiative underscores the department’s commitment to improving productivity and empowering farmers with innovative techniques to advance the sericulture sector.
The event witnessed enthusiastic participation of a large number of farmers, senior officers, and technical staff of the department.
