Srinagar : A Piping Ceremony was held on Thursday at District Police Headquarters Handwara for the promotion of InspShowkat Ahmad to the rank of Deputy Superintendent of Police and nine Head Constables to the rank of Assistant Sub-Inspectors. The ceremony was presided over by SSP Handwara, Mushtaq Ahmad Choudhary.
The event witnessed the presence of several officers, including Additional SP HandwaraZafferIqbal Nawaz, DySP DAR Handwara and DySP Ops Handwara alongside other senior officers of the District Police.
On the occasion, SSP Handwara congratulated the promoted officers and advised them to remain committed towards their duties and ensure better public service. During the colourful ceremony, all the newly promoted officers expressed their gratitude towards police department for conferring their next ranks and timely up gradation.
