The camp, held under the supervision of Abdul Nasir, Chairman DLSA, Ganderbal, was inaugurated by Sheikh Babar Hussain, Secretary DLSA Ganderbal.
During the camp, Secretary DLSA interacted with the jail inmates, listened to their grievances and concerns. He assured them the authorities’ commitment in ensuring their basic rights and well-being.
He highlighted the importance of the day, emphasizing that National Human Rights Day is a reminder of the need to protect and promote human rights, dignity, and well-being of all individuals, particularly the marginalized and vulnerable sections of society and the under trial prisoners.
The camp aimed to provide free medical checkups and health services to the inmates.
