Ganderbal: The Motor Vehicle Department in Ganderbal has initiated a massive campaign to crack down on traffic violators, aiming to promote road safety and discipline among drivers.
The department has been actively identifying and penalizing individuals flouting traffic regulations. Authorities have appealed to the public to adhere to traffic rules, stressing the significance of responsible driving for ensuring safer roads for everyone.
Assistant Regional Transport Officer (ARTO) Ganderbal has particularly urged parents and guardians to ensure their children do not operate vehicles without a valid driving license. The ARTO emphasized that allowing minors or unlicensed individuals to drive poses grave risks to their safety and the safety of others.
“Parents and guardians must cooperate with the transport authorities to instill a sense of responsibility among their wards,” the ARTO stated.
The ongoing drive underscores the Motor Vehicle Department’s commitment to reducing accidents and creating a disciplined road culture in Ganderbal. Citizens are urged to support this initiative by strictly following traffic norms and regulations.
