DDMA Pulwama organizes Mock Drills & Awareness prog on Disaster Preparedness

Pulwama : The District Disaster Management Authority (DDMA) Pulwama, in collaboration with the 13th Battalion of the National Disaster Response Force (NDRF) and the State Disaster Response Force (SDRF), organized a Mock Drill, Exercise and Awareness Program Saturday at Government Degree College and Sports Stadium, Rajpora.
The event focused on disaster preparedness, particularly for earthquakes, landslides and fire emergencies.
Students and various stakeholders actively participated in the program, availing the opportunity to learn essential disaster response techniques and safety protocols.
Deputy Commandant of NDRF presented a comprehensive overview of the program highlighting the importance of promotion, prevention and mitigation measures aimed at Disaster risk reduction.
The event saw wide participation including officers, officials, students and other stakeholders.
