Poonch : A meeting regarding the implementation of Mission YUVA- Yuva Udhayami Vikas Abhiyan was held here on Saturday under the chairmanship of Deputy Commissioner Vikas Kundal with all the relevant stakeholders in attendance.
The discussion focused on the effective execution of the mission, strategies to identify, deploy and train the Manpower, and ensuring effective coordination and collaboration among the Stakeholder departments and organizations.
Key action points, timelines, and roles were outlined for the departments to ensure the mission’s objectives are met efficiently.
The primary objective of the meeting was to discuss the scope, methodology, and timeline for conducting the baseline survey of existing and potential entrepreneurs which aims to gather essential data on various parameters in the district. The survey will serve as a foundation for planning and implementing future development projects.
The meeting also focused on ensuring that the survey captures accurate and comprehensive data to guide informed decision-making.The identification and training of manpower for conducting the baseline survey was discussed in detail.
The meeting was attended by Additional Deputy Commissioner, General Manager DIC, Chief Planning Officer, Deputy Director Employment, Assistant Commissioner Development, DSEO and other officers. Besides, Principal Polytechnic College, Principal ITI Poonch/Surankote/ Mendhar, BDOs and CDPOs of the district attended the meeting through virtual mode.
