Srinagar : President of the Jammu and Kashmir National Conference, Dr. Farooq Abdullah on Friday paid tributes to Dr. B.R. Ambedkar on his 69th death anniversary.
In a statement issued from party headquarters here, Dr. Farooq said, “Ambedkar was a visionary leader who emerged to challenge the deep-rooted injustices that denied rights and dignity to many. Much like Sher-e-Kashmir, who also demonstrated the transformative power of education and harnessed his wisdom to pave the way for equality and justice.”
Dr. Farooq praised Ambedkar for his courageous stand against injustice and his unwavering commitment to createg a more just society. He highlighted the parallels between Ambedkar and Sher-e-Kashmir, emphasizing their shared dedication to education as a tool for empowerment and social change.
