Srinagar : The two-day training programme on the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) Act, organized by ZPHQ Kashmir in collaboration with the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB), Jammu & Kashmir, concluded successfully here on Friday. The programme, aimed at enhancing the skills and knowledge of law enforcement officers, focused on combating drug trafficking and abuse in the valley.
The final day of the workshop featured comprehensive discussions and practical sessions on investigative procedures, led by the NCB team, headed by Superintendent Raj Kumar Shah. The participants, including officers from various law enforcement agencies, gained valuable insights into the latest methodologies for investigating NDPS cases and addressing the growing drug menace. The DIG CKR Rajiv Omprakash Pande, Joint Director Prosecution ZPHQ Qazi Abdul Qayoom, SO to DIG CKR Liaqat Ali, PO DPO Srinagar Smt. Asifa Rashid Mir were part of the training programme and provided their valuable insights for tackling the drug menace. Supervisory officers and Investigating Officers from Central Kashmir range participated in this training programme.
