DDC Shopian reviews department wise works of Distt Capex

Shopian : To review the progress of works under the District Capex Plan for the ongoing year (2024-25) in the district, the District Development Commissioner (DDC) Shopian, Mohammad Shahid Saleem Dar on Thursday chaired a meeting, here.
The DDC took department wise progress of physical and financial achievements of ongoing public works in the district.
During the review meeting, Shahid emphasized the need for efficiency in the project lifecycle, urging officials to expedite the execution process and complete the works within time.
He instructed officials to prioritize flagship projects with significant public benefits, and immediately improve physical and financial progress.
The District Capex Plan includes various development projects, such as roads, bridges, paths, approach roads, drainages, playgrounds, irrigation works and public buildings including schools, health centes, etc.
The review meeting was attended by ADDC, Shopian, Dr. Nasir Ahmad Lone and various district and sectoral officers and BDOs.
