Srinagar : Police on Thursday said that it has seized two vehicles acquired through proceeds of illegal narcotics trade.
In a statement issued from Zonal Police Headquarters Srinagar police said that in Srinagar the police party on Thursday seized two vehicles (Corolla bearing registration number DL4CNE-6086 and BMW bearing registration number JK01AF-0047) in connection with case FIR No. 36/2024 under section 8/21 NDPS Act of Police Station Chanapora from the accused namely Mudasir Ahmad Wani S/o Gulam Rasool Wani R/o Stadium Colony, Chanapora. Stating that the seizure of vehicles acquired by illegal means through narcotics trafficking has been made under the provisions of 68 NDPS Act, Police in the concluding para of its above quoted statement reiterated its commitment to eradicate the drug menace and dismantle the infrastructure supporting narcotics trafficking.
