azigund, Dec 05: Security forces arrested two terror associates and recovered arms and ammunition, including two AK-47 rifles from them in Lower Munda area of Qazigund in south Kashmir’s Kulgam district, officials said.
An official said that during a naka checking two terror associates were arrested and recovery was made at Gulab Bagh near Lower Munda area of Qazigund.
The recovered arms include two AK-47 rifles; four magazines and some rounds.
The arrested individuals have been identified as Manzoor Ahmad Bhat, son of Rashid Bhat, of Nipora and Altaf Ahmad Lone, son of Abdul Ahad Lone, of Teesan Kachpora Zadoora.
A case has been registered, and further investigations have been taken up, he said.
