Srinagar : A shopkeeper was injured in an acid attack at Rajpora area of South Kashmir’s Pulwama district.
An official said that a man from Shadimarg, who is running a shop at Kalampora, was injured after unknown persons threw acid on him.
He said that the man identified as Mohammad Shafi Mir was heading towards his residence after closing his shop when the acid was thrown on him.
The official said that after crying out loud, some locals came and took the victim to the Community Health Centre (CHC) Rajpora wherefrom he was referred to SKIMS Soura for specialized treatment.
A police official said that they have registered a case in this regard and investigation has been taken up
