Drug peddler arrested in Sopore, Psychotropic substances also recovered: Police

Srinagar : Police on Monday said that it has arrested a drug peddler in Sopore and also recovered Psychotropic Substances from his possession.
In a statement issued from Zonal Police headquarters Srinagar Police said that a Police party of Police Station Tarzoo, at a checkpoint established near Sanctorum Public School Lalad Sopore arrested a drug peddler identified as Tawheed Nabi Gojri S/o Ghulam Nabi Gojri R/o Peth Seer Sopore and during search recovered 312 capsules of SpasmoProxyvon Plus from his possession.
Stating that a case under FIR under relevant sections of law was registered at Police Station Tarzoo besides initiating further investigation, Police in the concluding para of its above quoted statement appealed people to cooperate with it in curbing the menace of drugs from the society, reiterating therein its commitment to act tough against the criminals as per the law.
