Distt Capex Budget 2024-2025: Progress achieved in Udhampur Distt reviewed

Udhampur : Deputy Commissioner Udhampur Saloni Rai on Monday chaired a meeting with line department officers to assess the physical and financial advancements recorded under the District Capex Budget 2024-2025.
The meeting was attended by Additional District Development Commissioner Rajinder Singh; PO Poshan Subash Dogra; Chief Planning Officer Mohammad Iqbal; Assistant Commissioner Development Dr. Ranjeet Singh Kotwal; Assistant Commissioner Panchayat, Block Development Officers and other District Officers.
The DC took extensive review of progress achieved under the District Capex budget including Area Development Plan, Aspirational Block Development Programme, DDC, BDC, Untied and PRI grants within the district.
The DC emphasized the need for expeditious completion of pending development works, directing Block Development Officers to ensure tendering process on time, focus on completion of pending works on mission mode & start billing of completed works.
The Executing agencies received instructions to adhere strictly to timelines, with an emphasis on conducting regular site visits to maintain uncompromised quality standards.
Additionally, the DC took review progress achieved in PMAY-G scheme, held detailed review from BDO’s and directed to improve progress, take action against willful defaulters.
