Srinagar : Government Medical College (GMC) Srinagar and Ancillary Medical Training (A.M.T.) School Srinagar observed World AIDS Day on Monday by organizing a massive rally to raise awareness on AIDS and its prevention.
The rally was flagged-off by Principal/ Dean GMC Srinagar Dr. Iffat Hassan in the presence of Mohamad Ashraf Hakak, Administrator Associated Hospitals GMC Srinagar, Razia Mehmood, Principal AMT School Srinagar, and other staff members.
Students of Govt AMT School, staff of GMC Srinagar, and AMT School participated in the rally, which passed through Super Speciality Hospital, SMHS Hospital, Kaka Sarai, Government Medical College, Dewan Bagh Zaldagar, Nawabazaar, and culminated at AMT School Shireen Bagh.
The participants carried placards with messages about awareness regarding AIDS, and a pledge was taken on the occasion to spread awareness about the disease and its prevention.
Principal/Dean GMC Srinagar and Administrator Associated Hospitals GMC Srinagar, appreciated the efforts of the students and staff of GMC Srinagar and AMT School in organizing the rally and spreading awareness on AIDS.
