Srinagar : To review the welfare measures and to redress the grievances of retired Police Officers, a meeting with (PROANG) Police Retired Officers Association Non-Gazetted was held at DPL Shopian which was Chaired by ASP Shopian Shukat Rafiq and DySP DAR Javaid Ahmad here on Saturday.
Representatives of Police Retired Officers Association put forth various pending issues pertaining to them and were heard patiently by chairing officer besides were assured full cooperation with their genuine grievances. It was also made clear in the meeting that they are always welcomed for their valuable suggestions as they have rendered a long service, sacrificed and toiled hard to earn a name for JKP. Further, chairing officer stated that various measures are taken by J&K Police department for the welfare of retired Police personnel. The participants were assured that J&K Police is always at their disposal and asked them not to feel isolated. Further they were assured that they are still part of Police organization and they can approach any Police officer or Police establishment any time.
