SOP Committee meeting held at B’pora, Emphasis laid on expediting processing of Damage Cases

Bandipora : Additional District Development Commissioner (ADDC) Bandipora, Mohammad Ashraf Bhatt on Thursday convened a meeting of the Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) Committee to discuss the verification process of structural damage cases in the district.
On the occasion, 07 relief cases from various areas of the district were reviewed and forwarded to the Relief Section for disbursement of payments under the prescribed government nor
During the meeting, the ADDC emphasized the importance of streamlining and expediting the process for addressing damage cases, ensuring that relief reaches affected individuals without delay. He urged the committee to adopt simplified mechanisms for file submission to prevent unnecessary delays or hardships for the public.
To further expedite the verification process, the ADDC directed tehsildars from Sumbal, Hajin, and Ajas to forward their jurisdictional damage case files through the Sub-Divisional Magistrate (SDM) Sumbal to ensure a faster and coordinated processing of damage cases.
The meeting was attended by Additional Deputy Commissioner (ADC) Bandipora Zaffar Husson, ACR, District Treasury Officer, Tehsildar Bandipora besides representatives from other concerned departments.
