Udhampur : Chairman, District Development Council Udhampur Lal Chand on Thursday conducted an extensive tour of Krimachi, Dabrah and Lansi areas to inspect the progress of developmental works. He was accompanied by prominent citizens of the area.
En-route, the Chairman visited Government Higher Secondary School Krimachi, where he inspected the progress of construction work on 3 additional classroo He issued strict instructions to the executing agency to complete the construction work at the earliest and hand it over to the school authorities to utilize the same of taking classes.
The Chairman DDC urged the school staff to work with full zeal and impart quality education to the rural area students.
Later, the Chairman DDC visited veterinary hospital at Krimachi and took stock of its working. He asked the staff to provide best veterinary services as the same is crucial for the economic growth of the farmers associated with cattle rearing. He asked them to be punctual and work with full zeal.
At Panchayat Dabrah, the locals sought the intervention of the Chairman ensuring best quality work in the ongoing renovation of local Bowli. In presence of local populace, the DDC chairman issued strict instructions to the Rural Development Department to improve the quality of work. Besides, the progress of construction work on the link road from Krimachi Road to Upper Sial was also inspected and necessary directions were issued to the block development officer.
The Chairman DDC appreciated the efforts of all the EX-PRI members present for the recent enhancement in the overall pace of the developmental works in the area and urged them to maintain the same spirit. The local populace also hailed the DDC Chairman for his full cooperation and dedication towards the development of the area.
