Stakeholders imparted Training on BBBP, BVMB campaigns at Khari

Ramban: The Social Welfare Department, Ramban, in collaboration with Tehsil Administration Khari, organized a Capacity Building Training Program for officials , volunteers and other stakeholders under the BetiBachaoBetiPadhao (BBBP) initiative, with a special focus on the BalVivaahMukt Bharat (Child Marriage-Free India) campaign.
The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from various stakeholders, including officials from the Health and Family Welfare Department, Mission Poshan, Police Personnel, Master Volunteers, Teachers and Students and Revenue Officials. The program aimed to raise awareness about government schemes for the empowerment of girls and the eradication of Child Marriage.
Held under the guidance of Deputy Commissioner Baseer-Ul-HaqChaudhary and the supervision of TehsildarKhariHarvir Singh and DSWO Rahul Gupta, the session was moderated by TSWO ShahbazChoudhary.
Experts, including representatives from Health and Family Welfare Department, Case Worker Neha, FyazMushtaq and TanveerulHaq from the District Child Protection Unit (DCPU) provided in-depth insights into different initiatives, emphasizing the need for collective action to achieve a Child Marriage-Free India.
During the event, a pledge was taken by all participants to work towards the eradication of child marriage and to promote awareness in their communities. The participants vowed to uphold the rights of children and ensure that every child receives education and protection from harmful practices.
The DSWO expressed gratitude to the participants and highlighted the importance of multi-departmental collaboration to achieve the goals of BBBP and BalVivaahMukt Bharat. He emphasized the need to focus on gender equality, community awareness, and strict enforcement of child protection laws.
The program concluded with renewed commitments from all stakeholders to create a safe and inclusive environment for children, ensuring their right to education and development while eradicating the menace of child marriage.
This initiative marks yet another step by the Social Welfare Department, Ramban, in fostering gender equality and protecting the rights of children through collaborative capacity-building efforts.
