Srinagar : The District Legal Services Authority (DLSA) Srinagar on Wednesday concluded a week-long awareness programme celebrating Constitution Day with great fervor and enthusiasm at the Legal Aid Clinic in Vitasta Law College.
The awareness programme was held under the guidance of JafferHussain Beg, Chairman DLSA and Principal District & Sessions Judge Srinagar, and under the supervision of Nusrat Ali Hakak, Sub-Judge/Secretary DLSA Srinagar.
The event brought together a diverse group of participants, including the Principal and staff of Vitasta Law College, DLSA staff members, Deputy Chief Legal Aid Defence Counsel, law students from Vitasta Law College, Srinagar and Para Legal Volunteers of DLSA Srinagar.
TasneemKausar, Deputy Chief Legal Aid Defence Counsel, served as the resource person, providing valuable insights, including guidance on effective press release writing. Students from Vitasta Law College contributed significantly to the Constitution Day awareness programme, sharing their perspectives and knowledge on the fundamental rights & duties of Indian Citizens.
The week-long program highlighted the importance of the Indian Constitution and its role in upholding fundamental rights and promoting justice. The concluding ceremony reinforced the DLSA’s commitment to legal literacy and awareness within the community.
