Panchayat Electoral Roll Revision: DPEO flags off SVEEP Van to promote voter registration in Udhampur

Udhampur: District Panchayat Election Officer UdhampurSaloniRai today flagged off SVEEP Van to encourage electoral enrollment under the Summary Revision of Panchayat Electoral Roll 2024.
The DEO stated that the van will travel across the district, with a special focus on regions with low electoral enrollment.
The initiative is designed to inspire and educate eligible 18+ voters to enroll as voters with 1st January 2025 as qualifying date. As part of the drive, the SVEEP Van will visit remote and underserved areas, offering information about the voter registration process, the importance of voting and the ongoing summary revision. She emphasized the importance of ensuring every eligible citizen is registered and has the opportunity to cast their vote. She appealed to the public, especially the youth, to actively participate in the electoral process and take advantage of this outreach initiative.
