Mini Job Fair at GDC Batote facilitates 17 on spot placements

Ramban : The District Employment and Counselling Centre (DECC)/Model Career Centre (MCC), in collaboration with Government Degree College (GDC) Batote, on Tuesday organized a Mini Job Fair, providing a significant platform to students and job seekers to connect with reputed employers.
The event witnessed the participation of four leading companies, including Urban Money Udhampur and Urban Money Srinagar, offering a variety of job roles across different sectors.
Witnessing an overwhelming response, as many as 150 job seekers participated in the Job Fair. A significant outcome of the event was the on-the-spot placement of 17 candidates, marking a milestone in bridging the gap between education and employment.
Earlier, the Mini Job Fair was inaugurated by the college Principal Prof. Nirlape Kour, in the presence of programme coordinator Lovepreet Singh and Pawan Kumar from DECC/MCC, college faculty and representatives from participating companies.
