Militancy Related Cases: Police conduct searches at multiple locations in Rajouri

Jammu : Police on Monday conducted extensive searches in militancy-related cases at multiple locations including Thanamandi, Dharhal, Kalakot, and Manjakot in Rajouri district of Jammu and Kashmir.
An official spokesman said that the searches were carried out as part of investigations linked to militancy related cases registered at Thanamandi and Rajouri Police Station.
These cases pertain to a militant network active in Rajouri which with the connivance of proscribed militant organizations like Jaish-e-Mohammed (JeM) and Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT), has been working to activate overground workers (OGWs) in Jammu and Kashmir to initiate, organize, and execute militancy -related activities.
During the Searches, incriminating materials and documents were recovered and seized, he said adding that further investigation in these cases continues.
