Srinagar : Eminent medico cum health columnist Dr Tasaduk Hussain Itoo has completed seven years of his medical writing. Hailing from Poshkreri Village of South Kashmir’s Anantnag district, Dr Tasaduk a passionate medical doctor by profession, is also an educator, researcher, health columnist and has been writing more precisely on health issues.
In a statement issued here on Monday Dr Tasaduk said that there is a large pool of talented medical writers here who write greatly with highly intellectualized research and thought process – which they should continue with passion, zeal, enthusiasm and keep on learning and growing. “Having a lot of potential in medical writing cum research, there is a need to bring ourselves to the forefront, explore our potential at all levels (state, national and international) and channelise our talent to invest in research with a purpose of service to humanity” he said. Dr Itoo further advised that writers should put their efforts best and write with a positive purpose in order to create a positive impact and transformation in the society through their writings. Talking about health education through writings, Dr Itoo said that public health awareness and education is crucial need of the times and as doctors we should put our efforts best in fostering and imparting health education among the masses.
