Srinagar: Paras Health Srinagar, recently honoured with the Bronze Award for Smart & Future-Ready Heart Care Hospital at the IHW Smart Hospitals & Diagnostics Awards, is proud to reaffirm its commitment to quality cardiac care. In celebration of World Heart Day, Paras Health is extending exclusive offers on essential cardiac procedures, promoting proactive heart health within the community.
Until 31st December, patients can benefit from discounted rates on several essential cardiac procedures, including angiography at Rs. 10,000, pacemaker implantation for Rs. 55,000, and angioplasty (PTCA) for just Rs. 78,000. These rates are all-inclusive, except for the cost of the implant in pacemaker procedures and stents in angioplasty, which will be determined based on a patient’s clinical needs following an evaluation.
With a recent milestone of over 300 successful cardiac surgeries and procedures, Paras Health’s track record demonstrates its dedication to delivering high-quality, patient-centric cardiac care across Jammu & Kashmir. This achievement reinforces the hospital’s contribution in the field of heart health services in the valley, staffed by an expert team and equipped with a state-of-the-art cath lab, 24/7 emergency response, and advanced critical care unit.
A key component of Paras Health’s success in cardiac intervention is its focus on the “golden hour” — the critical first 60 minutes following a cardiac event when timely medical intervention can drastically improve survival rates and recovery outcomes. Trained to respond swiftly and precisely, Paras Health’s emergency team utilizes the hospital’s modern cath lab and intensive care infrastructure to provide immediate, life-saving treatment within this crucial time frame.
“At Paras Health, our mission is to deliver exceptional, patient-centred cardiac care. Our recent award from the IHW Council affirms our ongoing dedication to quality and innovation in healthcare,” said Dr Gautam Das, Zonal Director at Paras Health. “Each member of our emergency and cardiac care team is committed to providing immediate, high-quality treatment that supports optimal patient outcomes. A good patient outcome is driven by a coordinated multidisciplinary team and this is our strength in terms of handling medical emergencies”
As the first corporate hospital in Srinagar, Paras Health is a 200-bedded facility with 64 ICU beds and six modular operating theatres, operating around the clock. The hospital’s critical care unit is staffed by experienced cardiologists, surgeons, and emergency care experts, all trained to handle both routine and complex cardiac cases with precision and care.
Patients at Paras Health have shared their gratitude for the life-saving interventions they received. Divakar Sharma, a recent cardiac patient, expressed his satisfaction: “I developed severe chest pain while travelling in Kashmir and visited Paras Health in Srinagar. The emergency team’s quick response and the professionalism of the doctors reassured me. The procedure was handled efficiently, and I felt genuinely cared for.”
Similarly, another patient Sanjay Lahoti, 63 years tourist from Assam shared his positive experience following a prompt angioplasty intervention: “I was admitted to the emergency at Paras Health Srinagar and immediately taken to the cath lab for an angioplasty. The procedure was handled immaculately, and afterward, I was moved to the ICU and then a private room. The service was top-notch, and the care from doctors, nurses, and even the housekeeping staff was excellent. Everything from food to accommodations was handled perfectly, and I’m extremely satisfied with the care I received.”
With its comprehensive suite of services, including 24/7 emergency care, a dedicated critical care unit, expert cardiologists, and state-of-the-art cath lab facilities, Paras Health continues to lead in heart care across Jammu & Kashmir. Emphasizing patient-centric services, the hospital has implemented a centralized call centre, follow-up care post-discharge, and a guest relations team to enhance the patient experience and ensure continuity of care.
Paras Health, Srinagar, is committed to raising the standard of heart health in the community through excellence in cardiac sciences and compassionate care, reinforced by the recent recognition from the IHW Council.
