Bandipora: The District Industries Centre (DIC) Bandipora on Thursday conducted one day PM Vishvakarma Awareness programme cum workshop at DakBanglowSumbal.
The programme was attended SDM Sumbal, Murtaza Ahmad Sheikh; Genral Manager DIC Bandipora, Mushtaq Ahmad; TehsildarSumbal, Functional Manager DIC Bandipora, Superintendent ITI Hajin, Public Representatives, Officers and officials from MC Sumbal, RDD and Bank besides large gathering of general public and PM Vishvakarma beneficiaries.
During the programme, participants engaged in a detailed discussion with officials, who clarified their doubts. A presentation was given to explain the scheme, and multilingual pamphlets were distributed to raise awareness.
Speaking on the occasion, SDM Sumbal emphasized the significance of the PM Vishwakarma Scheme and encouraged participants to register and take full advantage of the benefits. He highlighted that the scheme not only provides artisans with certifications but also offers them a new identity.
General Manager DIC Bandipora also spoke about the importance of the scheme in empowering artisans.
Superintendent ITI Hajin elaborated on the training process, which enhances the skills of beneficiaries and equips them with necessary toolkits.
Interested applicants were guided through the registration process and enrolled on the spot by CSC operators.
At the end of the session, SDM Sumbal along with other officers, distributed certificates to the trainees and beneficiaries.
