BJP converted JK into testing laboratory of injudicious and ill-considered policies: Nasir

SRINAGAR, Nov 20: Political advisor to Chief Minister Nasir Wani on Wednesday said that the People Democratic Party (PDP) was responsible for the present mess in J&K that led to the abrogation of Article 370 and 35A in Jammu and Kashmir.
Wani said this while replying to a question from media persons in old Srinagar in response to PDP’s claim that the National Conference has failed to bring about a resolution about the restoration of Article 370.
Wani along with J&K minister Satish Sharma and MLA Tanvir Sadiq had gone to Abi Rainawari where a devastating fire on Tuesday destroyed numerous homes and displaced 26 families.
“Had not the PDP supported BJP in 2014, the Articles 370 and 35A would not have been abrogated”, Wani said adding “Neither the people would have seen the past ten years of destruction in Jammu and Kashmir”.
Wani said People will never forgive PDP.
He said whatever they promised in the manifesto, they will be fulfilled in reality.
“PDP played wrong politics in 2008, 2010 and in 2016 they were defeated. PDP is trying to put the people on the wrong path by creating confusion in their minds”, he said.
PDP has always played destructive politics and is doing so today, he alleged.
“Hardly the government has completed one month in office which the PDP can not digest. They are not looking at the destruction they did during their tenure,” Wani added.
