Srinagar : The Cultural Unit Kashmir of the Department of Information and Public Relations (DIPR), J&K on Tuesday organized a symposium and short play on women empowerment at Government Girls Higher Secondary School, Amirakadal.
The event aimed to promote women’s empowerment and gender equality, encourage young minds to advocate for women’s rights and foster a culture of inclusivity and social change.
The event featured a thought-provoking short play by local artists, shedding light on issues surrounding women’s empowerment.
Students delivered impassioned speeches, emphasizing gender equality and the significance of women’s rights in the modern age.
Pertinently the Cultural Unit Kashmir of DIPR is committed to providing a platform for students to express their views on different social and cultural issues besides encouraging them to become vocal advocates for change.
