Kunzer (B’la): Farooq Ahmad Shah, MLA Gulmarg on Thursday inaugurated the AFFARWAT TROUT live fish vending center in Kunzer, a pioneering initiative and the first of its kind on the Narbal-Tangmarg Road.
Lauding the efforts of the proprietor, Mr. Shah emphasized the importance of such ventures in boosting the local economy and generating employment. He urged the youth to take inspiration from this model and establish similar business units to contribute to economic growth and self-reliance. Later, Shah attended a lively Children’s Day celebration as Chief Guest, organized by the Army Goodwill School, Ziran Tangmarg. Addressing a gathering of students, teachers, and parents, he emphasized the importance of education as the cornerstone of a bright future. “Children are the architects of tomorrow, and the government is committed to providing them with the best opportunities to excel,” he said. He also advised the students to remain focused on their goals and make the most of their educational journey. Later in the day, Shah presided over a party functionary meeting in Kunzer. He called upon party members to deepen their engagement with the public and remain steadfast in their efforts to address the grievances and aspirations of the people. He emphasized the need for collaborative action to bring about meaningful change and foster a spirit of service in the constituency. The series of events reflect Shah’s commitment to holistic development in Gulmarg, with a focus on economic, educational, and social progress.
