Srinagar : Dr. Owais Ahmed, IAS Commissioner Srinagar Municipal Corporation (SMC), conducted an extensive review of the preparations underway for Guru Nanak DevJi’s birthday celebrations at the historic ChattiPadshahi Shrine at Rainawari Srinagar.
During the visit, Dr. Owais inspected key arrangements, including round-the-clock drinking water supply, adequate lighting, and sanitation services to ensure that all devotees and visitors enjoy a safe and spiritually fulfilling experience. The Commissioner emphasized that providing a clean, welcoming environment for devotees reflects SMC’s dedication to community service and respect for religious and cultural events.
