Baramulla : A well attended oath-taking ceremony was on Wednesday held at the Auditorium Hall of Government Higher Secondary School (GHSS) Baramulla for the District President and General Secretary posts of the School Education Non-Teaching Employees Forum (SENTEF) Baramulla.
The newly elected leaders who took oath on this occasion include Aatir Rashid Mallik, Aatir Rashid Malik Senior Assistant CEO Baramulla. Malik was sworn in as the District President of SENTEF Baramulla. Younis Ahmad Ganaie Younis Yawa , Junior Assistant HSS Lalpora, took oath as the General Secretary. The oath ceremony was attended by Riyaz Ahmad Rather,District President JKADCA, Mohd Ramzan Mir, SO CEO Baramulla, M Yousuf Reshi, SO Planning. Speaking at the event Farooq Sofi Ex. District President SENTEF Baramulla highlighted multiple pressing concerns faced by non-teaching employees. He emphasized the need for collective efforts to address thechallenges and ensure the welfare of the non-teaching staff. The Oath Ceremony was well-attended by non-teaching employees of the District demonstrating their commitment to the federation’s goals. President SENTEF, in his concluding speech, highlighted several concerns, notably the mandatory use of JK Smart Attendance for clerks despite their work extending beyond official hours, Stating therein that clerks are frequently deployed across multiple locations – including Head Office, Zonal Office, Fund Office, AGs Office, and Treasury . Stating that their job profile renders it impossible to consistently mark attendance via the Smart App, the President SENTEF said that clerks should be exempted from this attendance system.
