Ramban: In an empowering step for young girls, the Department of Social Welfare, in collaboration with the Department of Employment and Counseling Centre Ramban and under the guidance of Deputy Commissioner Ramban, Baseer-Ul-HaqChaudhary, organized a one-day seminar on career counseling and guidance at Government Degree College (GDC) Batote.
The initiative was conducted under the BetiBachao, BetiPadhao program.
The session, presided over by the college Principal NirlepKour.
Employment Counselor Lovpreet Singh guided students on selecting suitable career paths, the productive use of electronic gadgets for career enhancement, and personality development. He also introduced Psychometry Tests as a self-assessment tool to help students better understand their aptitudes and preferences.
Social Welfare Officer Neha Thakur motivated students to set clear career goals, work hard to achieve them, and highlighted the importance of effective time management.
The seminar aimed to equip students, particularly young girls, with essential skills and career insights to make informed choices and promote their personal and professional growth.
