Srinagar, Nov 13: Srinagar police Wednesday said, they could not establish the armed attack on the Kashmir University Vice Chancellor near Zakura even when they factored in all possible circumstances, they said.
As per police, some reports claimed that the VC was attacked with firearms. However, they said, police teams who visited the spot did not find validating bullet marks.
They said, pedestrians and the nearby police checkpoint didn’t hear any firing sounds, “except some rounds fired by VC’s security personnel.”
Nevertheless, the matter is being enquired into, police said,
