Road Safety Awareness Prog organized by NHIDCL, MVD Deptt at Pul Doda

Doda : In a collaborative effort to promote road safety, the National Highways & Infrastructure Development Corporation Limited (NHIDCL) and the Motor Vehicles Department (MVD) organized an awareness program at Pul Doda.
The event aimed to educate road users about safe driving practices, saw a large turnout of drivers and vehicle operators who received guidance on crucial road safety measures.
During the session, officials emphasized the dangers of over speeding, distracted driving—especially the use of mobile phones—and driving under the influence of alcohol.
The initiative sought to sensitize drivers about their responsibility on the road, stressing how small actions can prevent accidents and save lives.
As part of the program, pamphlets containing road safety tips were distributed among commuters, drivers, and the general public.
These informational materials included essential reminders about safe driving practices and highlighted the severe consequences of negligent driving on individuals and families. The pamphlets served as practical resources, reinforcing the event’s messages and promoting safe behavior on the road.
